Pros and cons of iformula app for iPhone and iPad

iformula app good for

...dont have to google things I cant remember any more. One suggestion would be to resize the images to fit the screen - a few of them run off the side or bottom.
I use it every day, worth upgrading to pro version,i Love it!!!!
i passed my exam by using iformula in preparation for exam !!
Im a Master of Science for mechanical engineering and Im teaching mechanics at an university in the States. I personally absolutely do not agree with Barrys statement above ! I use this app every day, of course you have to teach yourself using it and some submenus should be organized better, think of the good old days when we first used an HP 48 calculator and RPN, what a change of thinking. I also advise all my students using iformula for exam preparation and they are allowed to use iformula at the exams too ! May be Barry get stuck at K-12 calculus..... A good advise: higher maths does not only consists of calculus theorem !! If you memorized the tree structure of iformula lite it would be a good idea to spent some money for the pro version, which has much more topics and many helpful features. This is only my opinion - An opinion of an engineer, who worked for more than 15 years in the aviation industry and now "only" teaches at an university ! I hope these help some people who like math like me any further. best regards John
I think that this is a great app. Very useful, handy, and something easy to access.

Some bad moments

Many other free apps with much more info....lacking, to be sure. Maybe its good compared to other German language references?
Deleted! Used the program occasionally. Went to update and now content is limited and now have to pay! Bogus!
As an illustration of the problem of Obsessive-compulsive Disorder, this app is pretty good. As a math resource, this app is less than worthless. For example, the Constants menu has seven submenus, titled Constants I-IV and Useful Constants I-III. As you can see, the titles give no hint of where youll find the constant youre looking for. Whats there is a mishmash of physics and chemistry constants with many important ones missing. They are arranged neither alphabetically nor by subject matter. And Constants II and III are the same! Similar problems abound throughout. There are tons of formulas and diagrams you will never need, while many important basic ones are missing. At least once the end of a formula was clipped off the page. Its written in a mix of German and English using (apparently) German math notation. For example ":" is used for division rather than "/". Even for $0, this app is a rip-off, because of the price youll pay in headaches and wasted time. This app is so confusing it will make you feel stupid. I teach calculus for a living and I can assure you, the app is stupid, not you.
